Philosophy

I see gardening, and creation of gardens, as an exercise of symbiotic coexistence with nature. The time for chemicals to battle weeds and insects is long past.  If we create gardens that are climatically appropriate, we save ourselves much time and resources.

I draw inspiration from ecology and natural systems. I infuse organic gardening/farming practices and sustainable land usage with a flower/fruit centric approach that welcomes birds, bees and other beneficial insects. For me, a garden is a living entity and a silent and sterile garden is merely a space with hues of colour.
